As a child of God, you are predestined for the best of everything. God doesn’t give the second best of anything. We’re not talking about a few select areas of your life, but every area. God is working out all things for his glory and for your good.
God’s best is measured by his standards, not yours. So include this line item in your budget: God’s Provision – More Than Enough!
Before God can give, he has to prepare you to receive. He began this process by giving you his Spirit. His Spirit is working to conform you into the very image of Christ. Christ is the best! It doesn’t get any better than that.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8:28-30 NIV
